The Lord Will Fight For You (Sunday, March 17, 2013)

The Lord opened a conversation with me with this lovely promise. The Scripture appears in various places in the Bible. I liked Exodus 14:14 for the context of being in a place of discomfort and looking unto Jesus for the rescue of His rest.

One of our praise songs Sunday was “How Great Is Our God” by Chris Tomlin. The atmosphere was really primed for the release of my morning conversation with Lord to my eternal family.

He wraps Himself in Light and darkness tries to hide. Don’t you want darkness to flee from you? Don’t you want it to tremble at the sound of your voice? The way you know, dear heart. Get in Jesus; He’s our protection. Get the Holy Spirit in you; He’ll bring back the words of Jesus to your remembrance–and put the enemy trembling to flight.

I believe, Lord, help my unbelief” (Matthew 9:24). Jesus gave us this example to prove that our God fights for us. Here are some other instances of His love-powered prowess on our behalf:

He rose with all power (Revelation 1:18)

He makes the crooked ways straight (Isaiah 42:16)

No weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17)

He has the keys of Death and Hades (Revelation 1:18)

He gave us the keys to the Kingdom (Matthew 16:19)

He opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens (Revelation 3:7). I loved this especially in relation to our recently concluded Fast From Wrong Thinking and Confessing.

Here are the other Scriptures:

Isaiah 52:12, 55:11, 58:8
2 Chronicles 20:15
Deuteronomy 1:30, 3:22, 20:4
Mark 9:24
John 3:17, 16:13, 8:12

Intercessory Prayer (Saturday, February 11, 2012)

Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

There are two parts to this Word. First, your heart belongs to God. Your heart belongs in Heaven with the treasure of faith it has stored up in Jesus Christ.

Second, your soul (your mind, your will, and your emotions) doesn’t have to overtake you. It doesn’t belong on the throne of your three-fold nature of spirit, soul and body. It is necessary, needful and good that the Word should accomplish this deep sanctifying inner surgery. The cleansing goes all the way down into your joints (because each joints supplies) and marrow (where the DNA of God yet resides in you)! The cleansing is side-by-side, five-by-five, 24-7-365 wide, discerning the thoughts and intents of the heart so that you can open to, believe and receive God; open to, believe and receive the plans He has for your future; open to, believe and receive the salvation for your every day, and open to, believe and receive the power of the Holy Spirit to live it out now, by faith, even in the midst of a perverse and wicked generation. To break the curses the enemy is speaking over them to kill, steal and destroy them as he (the Enemy) is destroyed. To break the strongholds of wickedness and bondage. To open the eyes of the blind so that they can see the holy grace, mercy and forgiveness of the only wise God. To Him be glory forever. Amen.

His Life, His Way: Forever Victorious!
August 10, 2011

There are three main points to the “Forever Victorious” teaching:

  1. Knowing God the way He wants to be known (Hosea 2:19-20)
  2. Entering into His supply cycle (Genesis 26:12-13, Hosea 2:21-23, and 1 Timothy 2:1-2)
  3. Living out of your spirit (John 16:13)

I believe God sent this word to encourage His children. He is not waiting for a misstep to send wrath upon us. He sent His only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, into the world for that mission (to pay for our sins that did indeed warrant punishment) so that we would be free to know our heavenly Father in love.

It is not by coincidence that God speaks about abundant prosperity at the very time the world shouts limits, lack, and absence. Yet we serve The King whose Kingdom is without end! Should His royal children suffer pockets with holes in them and be unable to complete the mission He has set for us? No, of course not. But it may look that way if you have not yet learned to take up the keys of heaven. (Hint: if the mountain is covering your supply, command it to move! If time permits and the Spirit of God so moves on Mark 11:23, this will be our activation).

Look into the word and you will find His abundant supply every where. Here are a few Scriptures to get you started on this bountiful journey: 2 Peter 1:5-9, Jude 2, 3 John 1:2, Galatians 5:22-25, John 14:6, Ephesians 6:14, Philippians 4:8;19, Luke 12:32, Proverbs 13:22, and Matthew 7:7-8;11.

This last point is indescribably wonderful. It is “… the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1).  It is undeniably most comforting to the young Believer and entirely satisfying to the seasoned Believer. It is fruit, more fruit, and much fruit! (John 15:1-5). Living out of your spirit immediately connects you to the Supernatural. Here it is vital that you allow the Holy Spirit the total right to lead you and “guide you into all truth … and show you things to come” (John 16:13) for that is His express mission. When you are walking together in this lane, life truly becomes amazing! You can actually see “the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living” (Psalm 27:13). What’s more, you get to participate in it. Raise your praise!

My prayer is that you have received a fresh word, or confirmation, from God in this highlight. You are welcome to attend In Christ New Hope Ministry (155 Pinnacle Road in Henrietta off Jefferson, near Tim Hortons) at 7PM on August 10 for the full teaching. If you are not able to attend, our messages are modestly priced. Call (585) 334-8730.

  1. Happy New Year! Ever since the Lord “named a year” a few years ago, I have been eager to hear and embrace such a decree of His again. This year, 2011, He moved and decreed “The Year of Knowing!” How awesome when you consider that Jeremiah 31:34/Hebrews 8:11 and Hosea 2:18-23 tell us that we will know Him in the manner He desires.

    During our Watch Night service, two members reflected on a time when it seemed that “all hell was breaking loose” right after the Lord Jesus decreed a life-changing direction. As they were speaking, the Lord said to me: “Though it seemed like hell was breaking loose, I was actually scattering it before them because they obeyed My Word and leaned on Me.” How awesome is our God! He is a rewarder to those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6).

    Expect the Holy Spirit to perform Ephesians 3:20 (…exceedingly abundantly above…) and release “much more” than you can ever ask or think in 2011. He will do it.

  2. Today we witnessed a phenominal move of the Spirit of the Living God! He moved over In Christ New Hope Ministry’s members and visitors today and His compassion brought forth healing and freedom in great measure. And in His move, He also released words of comfort and challenge (to become great). For my part, the Word He gave me came near the end and it described our service from His perspective:

    “The active, living church is compassionate, caring, and meeting the need” of its people is what He is after and what He celebrates!

  3. As we walk into Day Three of the fifth annual Believers Meeting, I am meditating on how the revelation of Jesus Christ is so important to us as individual Believers, but even more critical for the global Body of Christ! Last night, our guest speaker, Pastor William Flynn of Higher Ground Christian Center in Niagara Falls NY, opened up the Scriptures concerning our victory over sickness/disease/death. It was a powerful revelation spoken; one that must be received in faith, absorbed in the Spirit, and then walked out in the power of God.

    I encourage you to attend the final night tonight (doors open at 6:30PM at In Christ New Hope Ministry at 155 Pinnacle Road in Henrietta) and partake in the teaching and the activation.

  4. 30 April 2010
    Today at Noon prayer, in the midst of intense worship, the Lord said to me: “The mantle is dropping now. Raise your hands now and receive it now.” I got  it, bless His holy eternal name.

    Get ready to worship.

  5. March 27, 2010

    Our foundation Scripture for Intercessory Prayer is 1 Timothy 2:1-6. Over the years, the Lord has shown His marvelous light on various aspects of this Scripture. Friday, He focused me on the last verse and, in particular, the words “proper time.” John 3:16 tells us that He sent Jesus into the world to save it, and whenever we release this word (for example, to encourage others), we have the assurance of it being the “proper time.” Said another way, we have God’s assurance that His promise of and anointing for salvation is active in the earth because He, His Word and His Spirit are eternal.

    Here is the bottom line: God Himself said, in Isaiah 55:11, that His word (Jesus, who in Revelation 19:13 is called The Word of God), would accomplish what He sent it to do (salvation), and prosper in the thing whereunto it was sent (us). Thank God, that God is not a man that He should lie, nor the son of man that He should repent (Numbers 19:23). Bless God that it is impossible for God to lie (Hebrews 6:18). Know without doubt that we who have received Christ Jesus have the divine ability to prosper in this proper time . . . now!

  6. 7 March 2010

    As I was driving to church, the Lord said to me: “It will be like Heaven today.” Now I have heard many things from the Lord, but never anything of this magnitude. Always eager to be in the house of the Lord, my expectations rose even higher.

    As an elder, part of our charge is to “set the atmosphere” which is to: “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His name” (Palm 100:4). One of my favorite praises is Revelation 22:13 where the Lord declares: “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.” I love to sing this to Him.

    It is exciting and marvelous to pepper Heaven with invitations to God. Bryon Cage captures it like this: “We anticipate Your arrival, Your anointing, Your deliverance, in this place. Your power, Your healing, Your mercy; we invite You in. Come in to this place, greet us with Your grace; we invite You in.” Go ahead, listen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l4CYQRm1GXk.

    Never before has the Lord answered as He did on Sunday. Please come out and share in His grace with us at In Christ New Hope Ministry (see http://www.icnhm.org for directions and contact information).

  7. Friday at morning prayer, the Lord showed me a new way of looking at the popular “a time to …” portion of Ecclesiates 3. Now, this is not the end all, be all, and nobody should make a doctrine out of it; it was God answering my prayer to open my eyes. It is helpful to keep seeing His word afresh.

    He said the first two verses are the key to this new way of seeing. Consider that God is prophesying to us about the coming of Jesus Christ:

    (1) To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven: (2) A time to be born, And a time to die;

    Now consider that the rest of verse 2 and down through verse 8 to be describing the life, ministry, and effect of Jesus Christ.

    2 A time to plant, And a time to pluck what is planted;
    3 A time to kill, And a time to heal; A time to break down, And a time to build up;
    4 A time to weep, And a time to laugh; A time to mourn, And a time to dance;
    5 A time to cast away stones, And a time to gather stones; A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing;
    6 A time to gain, And a time to lose; A time to keep, And a time to throw away;
    7 A time to tear, And a time to sew; A time to keep silence, And a time to speak;
    8 A time to love, And a time to hate; A time of war, And a time of peace.

    Can you see “His Life, His Way” with fresh eyes now, too? What about your own life, since we are in Him and He is living out His life in us?

    Please comment and share your thoughts.

  8. Make the right decision.
    While we were in praise and worship this morning, the Lord said to me: “I’m not looking at your ‘trying to do.’ I’m looking at your decision-making.”

    Colossians 3:2 instructs us that “whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;” and 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 reads: “But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.”

    Let’s practice honoring God in our decision-making. Then, instead of trying, we will achieve greatness and that will be full of grace and; as a matter of His nature, highly rewarded. In our leadership reading of “Honor’s Rewards,” John Bevere discusses receiving no reward, a partial reward, and a full reward. No reward comes when you are in rebellion. A partial reward comes when you do what the Lord asks but grudgingly, without joy (from His perspective, incompletely). You are serving out of mere obligation or tradition. A full reward comes when your motivation is love. When you give service with an open and thankful heart and your decision is to please God.

    Praising and serving God are part of an awesome gift redeemed for Believers through the unswerving love of Jesus Christ and eternally guaranteed to us by His flawless sacrifice on Calvary. I beseech you, brethren, delay no longer. Don’t miss opportunities to go into His presence. Don’t miss opportunities to work together with God in this wonderful Kingdom life. Don’t miss opportunities for God to get and exhibit the glory from your life. Surrender all to Him (or, as Pastor Breedlove has taught, “come to the end of yourself”).

  9. This morning, the Lord said to me: “You can’t live tomorrow until you live today.” This is a follow-up to His word on Sunday exhorting His people to believe that He is talking to each and every one of us. Not just the one on your left that you perceive to be your peer or the one on your right that you perceive to be more qualified than you. “Tell them,” He said, “I’m talking to you! Even before you hear the message coming forth today, know that I’m talking to you.”

    I bless God for the day that He has made, for when the day dawns, it is His first manifestation to us of His great and everlasting love and power bestowed upon you, right then, for that fresh new day.

    Receive the Word, walk in the Word, and be blessed by the Word. Today is the day. Live it — don’t just long for the future.

  10. Song > | O the Deep Deep Love of Jesus | by Selah

    Such great and marvelous promises are in the love of Jesus. However, as it is written: “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him”– (1 Corinthians 2:0, NIV). Think of it! He died for the WORLD. What you’re about to meditate on is not the result of an innocent’s death for 1 or 2, but of; if we can, for the sake of our conversation, put any number to an unlimited sacrifice . . . a tetraillion (a thousand billion).

    If we can know Him as this eternal Savior and King, who died for every person to come upon the planet over its entire existence; past, present and future, I believe God will favor us and deepen our faith, our thirst, and our love for Him and His creation. His love in us will respond to the knowledge of the truth we’re seeking now: that He first loved us (1 John 4:10).

    So, meditate on the song. Close your eyes to shut out the flesh and sharpen your focus inwardly. Go in the spirit to your private inner prayer place. Take up your position of worship. Open with Psalm 103:1-6 AMP [BLESS (AFFECTIONATELY, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul; and all that is [deepest] within me, bless His holy name! 2Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul, and forget not [one of] all His benefits– 3Who forgives [every one of] all your iniquities, Who heals [each one of] all your diseases, 4Who redeems your life from the pit and corruption, Who beautifies, dignifies, and crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercy; 5Who satisfies your mouth [your necessity and desire at your personal age and situation] with good so that your youth, renewed, is like the eagle’s [strong, overcoming, soaring]! 6The Lord executes righteousness and justice [not for me only, but] for all who are oppressed.].

    This great, great love was revealed to Isaiah (among others), as it relates to the instruction God gave Jesus for fasting and overcoming the tempter. See Isaiah 58:6-8. Endless love, all-encompassing, inescapable, priceless, precious, and perfect. Perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18).

  11. Peace be unto You!

    I was asked to share briefly from today’s morning 6am intercessory prayer. I was led to St. John 15: 1-8; which happens to be a very familar passage of scripture for those of us who are s part of In Christ, but today as I meditated on these verses, the Holy Spirit shared with me this revelation. Just like a natural farmer uses material to produce a harvest so the Father God has chosen to use Jesus as the source, the material, the substance. God is the caretaker, just like the farmer who takes care of his various crops; therefore, God is responsible for taking care of us. But we are responsible for making sure that we contnue to remain in fellowship with Him; we are given the right to choose if we will remain in the vine as a branch and be a productive one or not. And it’s through our fellowship that we do so.
    Why? For the purpose of Him our Caretaker to be Glorified!

  12. My entire life must be considered an extension of “His Life, His Way”!

    Psalm 100 came up in my spirit this morning. Specifically, verse 4: Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.

    As I meditated on this rich verse, and reflected on Sunday’s vibrant praise and worship, the Lord spoke about how we assemble as Believers. Hebrews 10:24-25 encourages us to come together to “stir up love,” particularly as we “see the Day approaching.”

    My first meditation was of the 24 elders assembled together and casting their crowns before the throne (see Revelation 4:10-11). In the spirit, I saw them taking great care to select their finest crowns: faith, hope, love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. The excellence of the honor was amazing to behold, the resulting high praise was exquisite in its purity!

    My last mediation was of Daniel (see Daniel 10:1-12:4). Through prayer and fasting, he received a day of visitation that conferred upon him extraordinary revelation concerning the nation of Israel and the surrounding kingdoms. The intense commitment of three weeks of fasting (not for “babes!”) and praying sends up a sweet aroma to God equal to that of intense praise. Borrowing a phrase once used by Pastor Jentezen Franklin, both are “irresistible to God.” Both invite God’s attention and intervention. Both put God first and bring us “to an end of our self” (Pastor Roger Breedlove is currently teaching on this subject from Titus 2:11-12).

    As Believers today, our commitment and praise is being elevated by the Spirit of the Living God. It is vital that we get into agreement with the Spirit and expand and express our worship. Come up, church, and be assembled! Rise up, church, and cast your crowns before the throne of the Eternal Holy One of Israel!

    Whether assembled and giving Our Father who art in heaven vibrant praise or focusing on Him with intense commitment, revelation is released to stir up love and maximize the Body as the great Day of our Lord Jesus approaches.

    You are worthy, O Lord,
    To receive glory and honor and power!

  13. Elder JK,

    Your words flow so fluidly which is evidence of the Holy Spirit who flows within you. Thank you for sharing the wisdom that the Lord has shared with you.

    Awesome!

  14. Greetings Sister Lorna,
    That you received is joy itself — a celebration of the greatness of our God!

    While ministering yesterday, I truly understood how Paul could write: “But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.” (Acts 20:24)

    It’s enough to make one, well, giddy!
    Be expanded in all things Christ.
    Elder J. K.

  15. Elder J.K.,
    You really blessed me with the words of the Lord last night. Your enthusiasm and absolute ‘giddiness’ about the sayings of the Lord is refreshing! Continue to walk in your blessings and let Him take you wherever He leads!

  16. Greetings Elder JK!

    I will not be in the actual Bible Class on tonight, because of Children’s Ministry, however I’m stirred in my spirit from the brief overview I have just read regarding your assignment to share the WORD on tonight. My prayers are with you in that I am confident that you will be bold in your delivery and there is much substance within this message for growth.

    Continue to Prosper: Madell
